On Wednesday March 7, 2007, the victim, a 70 year old man, was at his Peterson Court residence. At approximately 2:00 p.m. the victim heard a knock at his door and observed two men standing outside his front door. The victim unlocked the door and the 2 suspects immediately forced their way into the residence. One suspect was armed with a handgun. Once inside, the suspects began to beat the victim with a chair. It is unknown whether anything was taken. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim was transported to hospital where he required medical attention for lacerations to the head, bruising to his face and torso, and a broken finger. The suspects are described as follows; Suspect #1 is male, black with a dark complexion and approximately 5'8" tall with a thin build. The suspect has a goatee and was wearing dark clothing including a black hooded sweatshirt. This suspect was armed with a handgun. Suspect #2 is male, black with a light complexion, and in his early 20's. He is approximately 6'1" tall with a thin build and was also wearing dark clothing.
